NMC Update

Since summer, NMC has presented over 40 learning sessions to thousands of managers all across the country on topics ranging from Coaching Practices for Managers – still the most popular topic – to Leading in Turbulent Times and Building Engagement across Generations. Many regions also held regional conferences on the theme of Employee Engagement that attracted between fifty and 200 managers each.

In September, the NMC conducted Focus Group sessions to gather information on results obtained from managers’ responses to the last Public Service Employee Survey. The input gathered at the sessions is important data that will be analyzed and shared with senior officials in the near future.

More recently we’ve been working hard on planning for the 9th Annual Professional Development Forum in Montréal which is now sold out! For information on upcoming events, please continue to watch the NMC website.
